Just a FYI there is a small Brachymetatarsia support group on Facebook (5 people). I thought about joining but then thought that it was too open and my friends, family and colleagues who I have hidden it from all these years might ask questions.

OMG, thats crazy. How did you find it? I dont think Im gonna join, only because its to "out there" to many people are on facebook and could come across me on that page! I dont have a page anymore, I cancelled mine a while back, plus you guys are my therapy, and I dont need to go anywhere else! Thanks for letting us know, thats great that people are getting the word out about this! You should send them a message informing them of this forum, I wonder if they know about it?

I was going to send them a message about this forum but I think you have to join the group to post a message and that would blow my cover

Ontario,
Blow your cover, lol your funny , I just found it, and sent her a message. I forgot I had an old account that I dont use, so I just did it that way. These forums are great, I wanna get the word out any way I can. I feel bad for the people who dont know of this secret little world we have! They may have already came across this forum though, because the hard part is actually finding the name for this, but once you have the name brachymetatarsia, its easy and usually Dr.Lees site is 1 of the few that always come up.

The ppl that have joined the group on Facebook are braver than I. Besides my family and ex fiancé no one else knows about my feet . I’ve just recently started doing more research on Brachy and came across this site, I feel a little bit more normal knowing that I’m not the only one. I’m sure I’ll be a regular now.

| Hi! I am so excited to find out about this. I JUST learned what this was called last week. I have it in one toe on my left foot and two toes on my right. I always thought I was the only one! It is pretty amazing to know I am not alone. I have spent my whole life hiding my feet. Wearing closed toe shoes always and wearing crocs or water shoes at the beach. I actually cried when I learned this is something that other people have too. I am really enjoying reading the posts and look forward to learning more about this.
